Growing food (or Flowers) Organically was once seen as only a practice for health nuts and flower children. THIS IS NO LONGER A FAD. Just about everyone wants our environment to be safe and healthy and the want for safety is the main reason people are starting to grow more organically. Growing organically is a how you can control to a certain extent what goes into your food.It makes your surroundings safer for your children, and helps preserve good safe practices for future generations.

The disagreement is that organic practices are impractical, expensive and weird. Nothing could be more incorrect. This is the way food has been grown for thousands of years before the invention and wide-spread use of chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. (Not to mention the carefully worded advertisements) As you upgrade your soil quality, apply homemade compost and implement practical, sustainable practices, the cost factor decreases as your production rises. Practiced intelligently, Organic growing is no compromise, but more a healthy and more bountiful process than commercially processed operations. Your plants will show more vigorous growth and higher yields and you will enjoy less stress. You will be removing known carcinogens, petroleum based products and sometimes dangerous inert ingredients from your growing area. How much is that worth?”

We invite you to follow our progress as we move into this more healthy lifestyle.
